Board of Supervisors
As the town's legislative body, the Board of Supervisors is responsible for overseeing programs and services provided by the municipality, as well as hearing the concerns of local citizens. They decide on basic local policy and act as liaisons between the municipality and the general public.
Board meetings are held on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 6:30 pm.
Occasional community events on weekends (4-6 times per year).
Term length is 6 years.
Auditor
The Board of Auditors meets annually, in January, to audit and settle the township accounts, then submits a financial report to the state.
Responsibilities are to set the salary of the Township Roadmaster and attend the annual Organizational meeting in January.
Edgmont employs an outside auditing firm, so no actual auditing required.
Term length is 6 years.
Tax Collector
The Tax Collector collects and deposits all funds received by the township, including municipal and property taxes.
Edgmont employs an outside tax collection agency so the tax collector has no responsibilities.
Term length is 4 years
