School Board Director
The School Board is the governing body for the school district and is responsible for the educational experience of all the students.
Responsibilities include hiring and evaluating the superintendent, setting district goals and policies, approving the annual budget, negotiating employee contracts, making decisions about curriculum and textbooks, and establishing district-wide policies.
School Directors meet a few times a month, including legislative meetings, work sessions, executive sessions, and policy meetings.
Term length is 4 years.
